Like many large schools, Warrington Collegiate was struggling to keep track of all of its IT assets.

The college’s IT team knew that its old asset management processes were becoming outdated and, increasingly, technicians had to spend valuable time going around the campus to do manual audits.

After a trial period of using NetSupport DNA (Education Edition), the team purchased and installed the software and immediately started to take advantage of the improved tracking and data it provides. Describing the solution as “invaluable”, the Director of IT Services told us, “When it comes to budget planning, you can see at a glance the assets you need to replace or that simply require an upgrade”.

The college also uses classroom management solution, NetSupport School, to carry out technology-led lessons. The solution makes it easy for teachers by supplying a wealth of dedicated assessment, monitoring, collaboration and control features – as well as allowing them to maximise lesson time by transferring files and folders from their PCs to multiple or selected students and improve collaboration by showcasing the tutor and student screens to the rest of the class.
