Students in unregistered schools across England are in danger of being radicalised, warns Ofsted.

The students in these schools are hidden from local authorities, reports The Telegraph, leaving them at significant risk of unregulated exposure to extremist views.

Ofsted has recently been allocated additional resources by the Department for Education to investigate how unregistered schools are operating.

Registered schools that do operate within the remit of the Department for Education and Ofsted can protect their students with software that checks what they are searching for online – giving the school advance warning of what students could be developing an interest in.

NetSupport DNA Education Edition’s Safeguarding module is the perfect tool to alert schools to any online activity that may place a student at risk. In addition, the software allows students who have concerns themselves to report them directly to trusted staff.
