One hundred and fifty schools in Kenya have received laptops as part of a pilot project to place free technology into the hands of primary school pupils across the country.

The laptops were initially promised during the presidential campaign of 2013 and now, after a three year wait, schools are finally receiving them – much to the delight of the students.

The devices are being distributed as part of the 17 billion shilling Digital Literacy Programme which is a Ministry of Education-led initiative to educate pupils with the benefits of computer-led learning.

NetSupport is delighted to be assisting this important project with the provision of classroom management solution, NetSupport School, for the programme’s teachers to use to instruct and collaborate with their pupils.
