New American research has revealed that 94 per cent of elementary teachers still mark test and exam papers manually, reports Tech&Learning.
This is despite the fact that the vast majority of schools across the country have spent precious funds to install various technologies that would allow them to save up to ten hours per week of marking time and free them up to concentrate on lesson content creation or other important tasks.
Teachers have a multitude of tasks to juggle and often do not want to have to take time to learn complex programs just to complete a single task.
NetSupport School has been designed in consultation with teachers and, therefore, much of its functionality is available within just a click or two. Its dedicated Testing Console is the perfect solution for teachers to claw back time spent marking papers; allowing them to create tests using a choice of question types – and then have the system mark them automatically. The tests can then be used again and again, further saving time.
