Earlier this year across the Slovakian towns of Bratislava, Malacky and Kechnec, three schools were selected to take part in the Microsoft Showcase Schools initiative which equips schools with the technology to improve teaching and learning through digital transformation.

The project enables teachers to create personalised learning scenarios for their students through the use of 1:1 learning devices coupled with current Microsoft education solutions such as Office 365 Education, Office Mix, OneNote, Skype, Minecraft and more.

Selected as the classroom management software of choice to be bundled with these devices, NetSupport School continues to help and support teachers in a technology-led class with its range of features which monitor, control, collaborate and assess the students.

Teacher Ibolya Straussova, from a private primary school in Kechnec told us: “As a teacher, I know it is very difficult to catch the “listener” student without raising voice sometimes. Exceptions are the lessons during which we are working with tablets. Thanks to NetSupport [School], students are under control and, if I need their attention, I just simply stop the activity or send them a webpage or another material. I can do that to all students or just individuals.

“If some students have difficulties or they don’t know what to do, I can help them by inconspicuous hyperlink while the others don’t know about that. It helps to cultivate their self-confidence. On the other side I can send extra tasks to smarter students.

“NetSupport is a great tool to keep students under control and I can respect their individuality, what is really important.”
