The Department for Education is about to launch a new funding method designed to reduce inequalities between schools with similar intakes across the country, as they currently receive different levels of per-pupil budget.
Approximately 10,000 schools will gain money, while a similar number of schools will face 8% budget cuts. Around 60% of secondary schools already have deficits, warns a funding analysis from the National Audit Office (NAO).
One solution which can help schools save money and time whilst improving productivity is IT Asset Management solution, NetSupport DNA. With features such as power management, hardware and software inventory and application metering, schools can identify where cost savings can be made without impacting the learning outcome of students.
