The 10th National Apprenticeship Week is currently being celebrated throughout the UK with the theme, ‘ladder of opportunity’.

Organised in the UK by the Department for Education, Skills Funding Agency and National Apprenticeship Service, the celebration sees a range of employers, apprentices, training organisations, colleges and schools get involved to help highlight and promote the success of apprenticeships over the last decade and the positive impact they have on individuals, businesses and the UK economy.

As part of this celebration, NetSupport was delighted that Debbie Chalmers (Apprenticeship Co-ordinator) and Chris Lane (Apprenticeship Course Leader) from City College Peterborough visited us this morning to thank us for our continued commitment to supporting its apprentices over the past few years.

With a total of eight apprentices now having come through NetSupport’s doors to gain workplace skills, the College showed its appreciation by presenting us with a certificate – and some delicious cupcakes!

NetSupport’s Managing Director, Al Kingsley, thanked the College and said: “As a company, we fully support apprenticeships and are delighted to assist young people in gaining vital skills in their chosen area to complement their qualification.”
