Supporting schools in maximising the benefits of technology-led teaching and learning, classroom management solution, NetSupport School, now includes new features and enhancements in its latest version, 12.5.
NetSupport School now features a completely refreshed User Interface making it even easier to identify and navigate to features. Users can also switch between a basic and advanced toolbar, making it even more accessible to new teachers. In addition to its enhanced file transfer and distribution speeds to help to save time and maximise lesson time, teachers are now able to re-set students’ network passwords without the support of their IT team. Not only does this allow the students quicker access to their devices but also minimises lesson disruption.
Meanwhile New PowerShell features allow IT staff to launch a PowerShell window from the tech console to quickly and easily execute PowerShell commands at a selected Windows Client. NetSupport School version 12.5 also provides new deployment enhancements, including a more intuitive interface for locating and deploying NetSupport School to selected machines.
For those working in a chrome environment, NetSupport School also includes enhanced support for connections from a NetSupport School Windows Tutor using *User and Device Mode connectivity options, teachers can quickly connect to the required Student devices by logged-on username/email or machine name (irrespective of who the logged-on student is). This additional support means schools have more flexibility when setting up and connecting to classrooms, helping to save time and maximise lesson time.
