Tell us a bit about Greenville County School District…
Greenville County Schools is the largest public school system in South Carolina. It has almost 100 elementary, middle and high schools, as well as nine special centers. It’s the 44th largest school district in the US, educating 76,000 students every day.
What challenges were you trying to solve?
Our teachers needed a way to supervise students more closely as they were using school computers. It’s so difficult to keep an eye on a whole class all at once, so we needed to find a better way to monitor them, as well as improve their focus.
Why did you choose NetSupport School?
We chose NetSupport School because we liked how easy it is for our teachers to use. There are lots of features – not just for monitoring, but for also for instruction. It’s also good that it’s flexible enough for us to use devices on different platforms – and the cost was right for us too.
How is the software currently being used across the district?
NetSupport School helps all of our teachers with instruction and student monitoring to ensure they stay on track with work. We now have it as our standard product and it works very well for us.
How has NetSupport School added value for you?
Our teachers have found that as they can keep their students focused on work, their productivity has increased. It also saves teachers a lot of time because they can do things quickly, such as share screens or log computers in or out. The fact that it’s easy to use also means that the teachers can just teach!
Would you recommend NetSupport School?
Yes, we have done so many times. It’s a great product!
