Have you seen our recent edition of the ‘Check it out!’ show yet? Well, don’t wait any longer! The May episode was an extra special show that featured students from schools around the world to showcase their digital skills and amazing projects.
We included many talented students and learned about their innovative initiatives – and one of the schools featured was The British School of Barcelona.
During the show, the BSB primary students’ Wellbeing Team shared their creation of Wellbeing Leaders and discussed how these students were appointed this prestigious leadership position – as well as the meaning and value of wellbeing.
In addition, Year 6 and 7 students from BSB also contributed to the episode with their awesome Minecraft Project, using it as a learning tool. These students also highlight the impact of technology in the classroom and the value of sharing knowledge and collaboration.
The teachers and students gave great feedback on the show – see some of their comments below!
A teacher, Kellie Goodall from Broughton Primary School, describes her students’ experience on the show: “Being a part of the Check It Out! show was a great experience for the children in my class. They loved the opportunity to be streamed live on YouTube and share their work with such a large audience! Thank you for creating the opportunity for them!”
Another teacher, Nick Dempster from Norwood Primary School, says: “It was very exciting because it was very professional and felt like a TV show! It was also really positive to hear feedback from the other schools taking part. I like how we were given the opportunity to inspire others whilst also learning from fantastic experiences from students from all over the world!”
