Across the US, June is known as National Safety Month to promote safety throughout the workplace. Founded by the National Safety Council in 1996, this day started out with the goal of bringing awareness to safety hazards and unintentional workplace injuries.

Join along in celebrating National Safety Month and help spread awareness by following the National Safety Council’s weekly topics to boost safety and emergency preparedness. There are also other ways to do your part – like testing all fire alarms, checking the fire extinguishers, and updating the first aid kit.

  • Week 1: Musculoskeletal disorders
  • Week 2: Workplace impairment
  • Week 3: Injury prevention
  • Week 4: Slips, trips, and falls

Part of having a good safety plan involves having a tool to instantly communicate in the event of an emergency or routine drills. Our mass communication software, NetSupport Notify, helps boost communication by sending messages that cannot be skipped or ignored.
