Founded by the UN General Assembly in 2011, this day aims to promote friendship amongst people, countries, cultures, and individuals to help inspire peace and unity to build bridges across the globe.
With so many things that happen that are out of our control, one thing we can control is how we treat each other. So, today is the perfect time to band together to promote “a shared spirit of human solidarity” starting with the simplest form of friendship.
